About Electric Car Help

Useful information first.

Electric Car Help exists to make choosing, charging, owning and selling an electric car feel less complicated for UK drivers.

What we cover

We bring together practical switching guidance, company-car information, charging and journey help, manufacturer introductions, servicing support, charger installation and EV valuations.

How information is checked

Tax, grants and government support are checked against official UK sources. Manufacturer information and live offers link to the manufacturer's own UK website. Where something can change, we show a checked or updated date and encourage you to confirm the current position before making a financial decision.

Independent, but commercially supported

We are not an EV manufacturer, charging network, garage or installer. We are developing an introduction service. There is currently no guaranteed provider network or response time. If a provider pays us for an introduction, we will disclose that relationship before you proceed. A paid relationship does not remove your right to compare other options, and we will identify any paid positioning clearly.

Our tools and your information

The EV starting-point check and calculators run in your browser and do not require your name or email. Their assumptions are shown alongside the results. The charging-stop tool estimates distances; it does not check live charger availability, traffic or opening hours. Driver reviews are collected for moderation and are not currently published as community ratings.

Electric Car Help is the main information service. Plugin Point covers charging and journeys, Value My EV covers valuation enquiries, and Service My Electric Car covers servicing support.
