How this estimate works
The first stop uses your starting charge and arrival reserve. Later stops assume you charge back to 80%. Choose suitable locations before the distance limits, rather than trying to reach them exactly.
Range means the distance on a full battery in the expected conditions, not the remaining miles shown at your current charge. The estimate assumes constant efficiency and no detours. It does not calculate charging time, queues, weather or elevation.
What to check before you travel
- Allow for cold weather, motorway speed and a reserve.
- Choose a compatible charger, with several bays and a backup nearby.
- Check live status, prices, opening hours and facilities before arrival.

Home, fast and rapid charging explained
Home charging is often around 7kW. Destination AC chargers commonly offer 7–22kW, while rapid DC chargers are often 50kW or more. Your car, battery temperature and charge level determine the speed you receive.
